We launched Searchability’s “Feel Sound” time in January 2020, to help provide a better work-life balance and more flexibility to our employees. Not only does this drastically increase your paid holiday entitlement, but Feel Sound time can be booked without notice, in as little as half an hour slots, straight through our HR app on your phone!
“Feel Sound” was introduced as part of our wellness programme alongside our #ThirdThursday events, we wanted to give our people the choice of how they use this time, because wellness looks a little different for all of us.
Our employees have already taken advantage of “Feel Sound” time for things like:
- Needing a lie in on a Monday morning
- Getting to an early gym class
- Taking a long lunch to meet friends
- Going for a mid-week hair-cut

Training & Development
Whether you join us straight from University or as an experienced recruiter, we want to give you the best support to help you realise your potential and succeed in your career. Below is a snapshot of some of the internal and external training we can offer:
Systems & Software Training
On your first day of joining Searchability you will have a one-one-one training session with your manager, giving you a deep dive into some of the core tools and programmes we use at Searchability including Mercury, SourceBreaker, LinkedIn, Broadbean, the job boards and more!
Social Media Marketing
We have a large focus on social media and marketing at Searchability, so we will provide training on best practice on channels including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, and show you how to create engaging content, images and videos on Canva to help you showcase your opportunities.
Searchability Campus 8 Week Programme
Every Trainee Recruiter will undergo a structured in-house 8 week foundation of training which includes information around sourcing and engaging with candidates, as well as business development and the recruitment process too. This is broken down into weekly sessions including: “Qualification”, “Lead Generation”, “Taking a Spec” and more.
1-2-1 coaching
While the beginning of your journey will include plenty of formal and structured training, we ensure you have continued support and guidance throughout your time with us to help you realise your potential. Your Line Manager will be on hand for assistance and you will also have access to one-on-one catch ups with Directors to discuss your progress.
The Recruitment School
We have partnered with Martin Ingram – Director of The Recruitment School – to deliver comprehensive training for recruitment consultants and recruitment managers within the business.
External conferences & events
We encourage our people to immerse themselves within their market, and regularly support our employees with funding external conferences and events. This has included The Members Only Retreat, World Employer Branding Day, Indeed Explore, LinkedIn Conferences, Tech MeetUp’s and much more!
